Analysis of five glycosides in Swertin franchetiana H. Smith extracts by high performance liquid chromatography and atmospheric pressure chemical ionization-mass spectrometry

摘要A rapid method was first applied to analyze the extract of the Swertia franchetiana H. Smith with high performance liquid chromatograghy-atmospheric pressure(LC-APCI-MS) and ultraviolet (UV) spectrometry. Five glycosides were well separated on an ODS column (4. 6 mm i.d. x 200 mm, 5 mu m) with mixtures of methanol and water as mobile phase. The recoveries of (1) swertiamarin (2) gentiopicroside (3) sweroside (4) isoorientin and (5) swetianolin fortified in the ranges of 7. 4 similar to 740; 14 similar to 590; 5.2 similar to 525; 4.2 similar to 343; and 1.0 similar to 171 mg/L were 98.3%, 106.7%, 92.3%, 88.2% and 107.3%, respectively. It is suitable for the quality control of the extract from swertia franchetiana H. Smith.
